The Where

The Northwest Hills neighborhood is located in on the western side of TX-1 Loop N / MoPac Expressway about 8 miles north of Downtown Austin. Northwest Hills has borders of RM-2222 on the south side, Loop 360/Capital of Texas Hwy on the western edge, MoPac to the east and Hwy 183 to the north. It is located in the heart of the Hill Country and is about 20 miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

The Skinny

Northwest Hills is one of the most desired communities in Austin. With several different neighborhoods, Northwest Hills features homes built between the 1960s and 1980’s, and represents an area that is both tucked away in the hills and a short drive to both Downtown Austin and the Lake. HEB grocery store is 1.5 miles and residents can experience on of the most iconic natural features of Austin, Mount Bonnell, which is only 4 miles away.

The Schools

Northwest Hills students attend Highland Park or Doss Elementary (K-5), Lamar Middle or Murchison Middle School (6-8), and McCallum or Anderson High Schools (9-12) are the high schools for this community. Private school options include St. Theresa's Catholic School (PK-8), Austin Jewish Academy (PK-6), and Paragon Prep (K-8).​​​​​​​
